Better known as 125’s or HST’s (High Speed Trains) the Class 43’s are one of the oldest diesel powered engines still running on our lines.
Living in the west country I mainly see the FGW (First Great Western) version of these engines.
This is a list of the Class 43’s that were reported in the 2011 Rail guide and photo’s of the engines I have seen on my travels.
